ExpertEd: Midweek Maths

‘Midweek Maths’ aims to offer some stretch and challenge to capable pupils in Years 7&8 and, importantly, to encourage conversations about Mathematics between children and their parents. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend together with their child. Each week will feature intriguing problems that encourage mathematical thinking and discussion of different approaches to solving them with input from mathematical guests and the audience at home. Participants will also be able to submit their own mathematical questions to be answered by our expert guests and attempt takeaway questions between events.
