Guildford High School is hosting a 'Woman in Technology' evening. The event will welcome a series of speakers from different areas of the industry. This free event is aimed at Yr 9 - 13.

About the Event
The event will welcome a series of speakers working in different areas who have studied a wide variety of subjects at university. One of the speakers studied Creative Music Technology and Music Composition, then worked in audio for video games before recently setting up her own games studio, another has worked in programming for gaming a company. They will be joined by an author of two books published through the British Computer Society, a technology consultant, and a current employee of CISCO.
Given the huge variety of roles in technology and the roles that will be available & emerge as we move forwards, we hope this will be of interest. Many people who currently work in the technology sector studied an unrelated subject at university.
